Description

Really liking were Hughes and Gorton are going.

MSL is doing an unbelievable job with the young core players. We adressed our RD pool. Price should be back at full health next year.

We could afford losing Petry if Letang signs this summer, and this would free some spots for the young D: Romanov, Harris, Norlinder, Guhle and Barron. Mailloux will come in 3-4 years and we should have a really good D squad.

Byron and Drouin shouldn't come back in 2023-2024, so this frees up the cap space for Caufield. No need to buy them out, and we can flip them at TDL.

We should try to trade Hoffman and Gallagher to make spots for young guys, even Dvorak if we win the lottery and draft Shane Wright.

Drop the picks on the Montreal side. Switch Bourque for Dellandrea. Add a pick on the Dallas side. Retain some salary on Petry

Nah, Minnesota doesn't need a Goalie and isn't taking on cap dump in jake Allen; nor would they give up anything for him

Yes I’d like to hang onto Johnston, Bourque, Stankoven, and Harley. I’d move all but Johnston for the right player but Petry isn’t that guy any more. Retaining 1.25 on Petry I feel like Montreal should be asking for Dell and a second, but that’s just a guess. I’d prefer Dallas looked at other options, but wouldn’t be overly upset with that trade
