Have to think that any deal involving Mrazek dor Allen is rejected by the Habs unless a 1st + is included from the Leafs. Mrazek sucks and is signed to almost 4 mil for 2 more years after this one. Even if we trade Allen we have Monty who is better than Mrazek.

No chance Winnipeg overpays that drastically for an unneeded, older, breaking down LD with a bad contract.

No, I know who he is. Muzzin is comparable to Dillon except older, breaking down and with a worse contract.

Should the title of this submission be 2peat or are you aware the Leafs are going nowhere in the playoffs?

You clearly don't know Muzzin has a NTC. This Toronto area guy isn't waiving to go to a lesser team with a horrid travel schedule....just because the Leafs want cap space.
And the fact is Muzzin has been horrid this season.

If LA is retaining anything on Wagner's contract, then the pick should be coming back to LA. Otherwise, just take Wagner off waivers. The Kings don't want or need Abruzzese. They already have more centers than they know what to do with.

Would rather just keep Dillon and those other pieces.

Muzzin is a lot better than Dillion. Dillion is rapidly declining and is a liability in his own zone and isn't much help in the O-zone. Muzzin is slowly regressing, is good in his own zone but isn't great offensively.

Yeah, okay then. I guess Muzzin may be slowly regressing now but he did some fast and heavy regressing the last 2 seasons, so if he's still regressing even more that contract is going to get uglier than it is now. The Leafs can keep Muzzin and the Jets will keep the better player.

That’s a terrible trade for Montreal. Mrazek is a massive cap dump. Montreal has four goalies greater than or equal to him (price, who will play again this season, Allen, montembault, and primeau) so you’ll have to overpay if you want us to take him, I’m talking a first, Knies, niemela, or Robertson. That’s just to dump the contract, we haven’t even added in the price of Allen, which, after seeing what goalies went for at the deadline, is probably a second round pick. You meet neither of these values in your trade offer, so therefore Montreal declines

Mrazek has zero value- yet somehow you think theyre going to get Allen on a cheap deal and somehow Montreal wants another overpaid goalie?
2nd deal is almost as ridiculous, and youre 3rd trade makes the leafs worse- and they give up a 1st.

Dillion isn't close to as good as him. Muzzin is at 80% EV OFF and 82% EV DEF, as well as a 90% Finishing rate. Dillion has 44% EV OFF, 89% EV DEF and 20% Finishing rate.

Dillion's stats are from last year playing on a Capitals team that was much better defensively than the Jets are now, his stats have taken a hit.
Muzzin's stats are from last season playing on a Leafs team that is underperforming defensively and his stats are better than Dillion's.

Muzzin is better than Dillion, and every Jets fan I know agrees with that.
