I think the B's can get picks of those values for JDB but if anaheim wanted to do that they'd just have taken DeBrusk in the Lindholm deal

To do the offer sheet bruins need their own 2nd round pick for compensation kinda the whole point of the trade

Why would you think Roy is a second line center? If that’s the caliber of player you’re targeting, just keep haula.

Zboril is UFA, and as good as gone.

And then the bruins would be down a winger. No indication debrusk was on the table in that trade.

There’s almost no options at center next year if Bruins can’t sign Trocheck they are as good as toast at 2c unless they do something like this, I like Roy put him in between Pasta and Hall he’ll be great. Haula is an anchor on that line

Do you know what an anchor is? That line is thriving, and haula is playing well.

Roy is a horrible, option to go after as a 2C. Do you know what happens in this league when GMs throwing out offer sheets? Other GMs start wanting revenge. If you’re going to do that, do it for someone who’s at least good.

Nicolas roy…sheesh.

Roy is not a C2. Not even an upgrade over Haula. Terrible idea. You also need to actually be in possession of your own draft pick as compensation for an RFA. Anaheim has it don’t see them giving it back for Debrusk so you can’t anyway.

Zboril is not re-signing. He’s wanted out for 2 years and was gifted early UFA status. He’s gone.

Lazar not signing that.

I don’t think anyone cares if it happens to Vegas after this season and last 10 games the second line has not been producing look at pasta and halls points and then look at haula, his production is just from him mooching secondary assist off of what Hall and Pasta create on their own ya he’s the definition of an anchor because if there was a better option at 2c that line would be playing better

1. Punctuation is your friend.
2. If you’re strictly going to look at points and make decisions based off that, especially when not factoring in other things such as bergeron being out etc, all i can really tell you is that watching the game is a far better way to figure things out.

I really dislike the “fancy,” stats, but from what I can gather the only stats about line combinations are the analytic junk. But since it kind of seems like rather than watching, and digesting, you came in with a preconceived notion about Haula, and nothing that actually happens on the ice would change that…here we go with fancy stats:
As a line, Hall - Haula - Pastrnak rank -
15th in expected goals against (per 60)
37th in expected goals for (per 60)
27th in expected goals percentage

That’s a 1B line, and an absolute rock star of a second line. If Haula is an anchor, he’s a really bad anchor.

Did he just pass the point of no return for G6? I coulda sworn he was still listed as RFA a couple weeks ago when I was discussing him on here.

Basically what happened was they entirely intended to get him teh necessary games. He was playing awesome in the NHL, and for stretches looked like he might be the bruins best left shot D. Then he tore his ACL. Sooo UFA status and he’s gone.
