While Wahlstrom is a decent young player DeBrincat has similar value to Barzal, would you trade Barzal for that package?

Dobson declines that contract + this team won't make the playoffs with Hagg and Greene in the lineup.

No, but if you'd like our 2022 first-round pick that would be a lottery pick you're more than happy to have that. Definitely would be a massive deal that both sides would have to find a common ground on. Kane and Toews are definitely more likely to be dealt.

Isles are probably better off trading for Fiala if they want a top 6 winger. Hawks decline this

Neither team would do this trade.

DeBrincat is an elite talent that Chicago is building around and the Isles cannot afford to trade all of those assets.

If Chicago looks to move Kubalik the Isles could try to target him and McCabe, but Bailey needs to be moved first or in the trade.

Would it be different if Isles potentially included their 2022 first (Lottery Pick)

Depends how high the picks was but yeah I guess. I just don't see cat being moved. Doesn't make sense for the Isles to move Wahlstrom+top 10 pick+2023 1st+
