Stars aren't trading a 1st Round Pick alone for a 35-year with term. They are absolutely not trading a 1st Round Pick AND a top prospect for him.

LA isn't interested in Gallagher at his full cap hit, regardless of cost or return.

Romanov is a nice target, but he and Norlinder aren't what we're looking for in return for Turcotte.

Easy No for the Kings.

Why not, Hoffman + Drouin vs McDavid and this post is perfect and not lopsided

I know this post is atrocious but Romanov doesn’t have more value than Turcotte one for one ?

Only if you throw in a 1st going to Montreal. I hear that McDavid guy isn't good

No, I don't think so. Turcotte has a high upside as a top-2 centerman and Romanov looks to be a good defensive second- or third-pairing defenseman.

Mind you, don't get me wrong -- you can argue with some justification that Romanov would be an upgrade at LD for us, and I think that he's a perfectly fine player. But we're looking for a dramatic, long-term improvement.

Romanov plays over 22 min per night since St-Louis is the head coach, and MTL wins more than they lose so he is at least a top 4 dman by now. But I get what you are saying, Romanov doesn’t have the upside Turcotte has but he is more proven
