Interesting Jets trade. Value is probably there, Jets do need to keep some righties around though lol

What do u think the Hawks would be looking for?
I’ve seen some asks for him that seem excessive

Oh I know. Players with the AD type contract (Laine, Boeser etc..) don’t have the value that people think they do

i’d think one of cozens/krebs/thompson and a 1st (maybe the vegas one this year) is reasonable/in the ballpark. they’d prob be interested in portillo as well, maybe if he’s included the pick could be buffalo’s second or something.

That still seems light imo

Pagnotta says otherwise.
Fiala is a better target anyway

Hagel got (2) 1sts and (2) prospects. Debrincat's about to be a 2x 40 goal scorer and neither of those seasons are his best Goals per Game since that was in the bubble. Alot more than you're willing to give. ALOT. Casey Mittelstedt isn't anything of value to the Hawks he's the next Alex Nylander. We're not falling for that again. The Hawks don't want Portillo either. They just signed Stauber, have Commesso in the wings and Soderblom in Rockford maturing. There's no place for Portillo. The Vegas 1st in decent considering they might not be playoff contenders Isak Rosen's not nothing, but this is VERY far from an acceptable trade.

Debrincat has been more productive than both those players, and this is from a Sabres fan. That ain't getting us debrincat.

Debrincat is better and way more consistent than both those players

The difference between DeBrincat and those players is DeBrincat is a 2 time 40 goalscorer, PK guy, PP guy, and he can hit. He's literally the complete package. He's this team's Hossa. He plays in EVERY situation. Boeser and Laine do not.

He also said teams are calling and the Hawks aren’t listening on offers that don’t completely “wow” them. This ain’t even fair value, forget about “wow.”

No thanks, unless you absolutely knock our socks off, we're not giving you DeBrincat.

Winnipeg needs a right shot defenseman far more than another left shot winger looking for a raise.

Jets say no. They need right shots, and Demelo is a top pairing defenseman and partner for Morrissey that makes him look better than any partner he's had the last three seasons.

If you want a Jets defenseman you'd be taking Dillion, Schmidt, or Stanley.

I doubt that any of those 3 would be available
We might not be good trade partners, bc i don’t see us willing to give up our best pieces to get him

that's totally fair, i'm taking it as a somewhat decent assessment of value tho since chicago fans thought it was too light and you think it's a bit too much, which i feel like is the sign of a fair trade on this website lmao

Would rather focus on Murphy from Chicago anyways.

I don’t think we “need” to add to the forwards this offseason
But if we are going to, DeBrincat would be at the top of my list
He’s only 24 & would fit right in with our rebuild timeline
Plus he’s one of the best goal scorers in the league

Sure, trade values are often all over the place here
DeBrincat surely would not come cheap
He’s a heck of a player

He fits right in with our rebuild too but the hawks desperately need forwards. He won't be traded unless you give up what you consider way too much then add a first
