It is sad to see many 1st year players outperforming the 1OA Lafreniere who is in his 2nd year!

There are a lot of players who are the same age outperforming Lafreniere. I feel like he has a hard time consistently making an impact, like he seems to be trying to conserve energy rather than be aggressive.

He’s been on fire since the ASG. He’s finally found his groove.

He's putting up points yes, but IDK, something's missing. He doesn't look like an NHL player, he doesn't seem to want to hit opponents but rather use his stick and body positioning to force turnovers. And he can't really get sustained o-zone pressure.
