I still don't see the Justin Williams signing being part of the "realistic" plan. Also, zero chance that Miller looks at Philly. I see him going to ANA or LAK most likely on a cheap deal as a backup.

Why wouldn't Miller look at Philly if it's pretty much as a starter? Not saying it's the most likely course of action but I think he'd value being the '1A' guy rather than the definite backup?

Doesn't Philly have two goalies already? Is Miller really that much better than them?

Agreed on WIlliams, he won't want to come to Philly we are too far away from contending and he's getting older. I think if we were two to three years further with our D no hesitation in a signing like Williams. Miller might come but we'd have to give him about 4-4.5 million for 2 yrs. I would prefer that to riding Neuvy and Lyon/Stolie. It also gives a great mentor type player to our goalie prospects, which you know Hexy likes. The big thing for Miller is how many more shots will he get at the Cup , he's at the end of his career and unless the Flyers somehow convince that they have a fair chance in the next two seasons I don't think he signs with them. I think we would end up moving Neuvy if we were to sign Miller.
