i’m personally torn, Hill has shown a lot of promise but has issues glove hand, and i love what Reimer provides us combined with a younger Goalie. Kohkenen to me just has more upside in our system than Hill.

yea i assume sharks are keep kahkonen. they robbed the wild. i assumed hill too because he's younger. but either hill or reimer work for the wings.

Hill would cost less as Reimer is playing way above his pay grade. but he does have a no movement clause and just plays so well in SJ and really likes it here. I have a feeling he might just play here till he retires.
and that would be perfect for us because our Goalie of the future is 18 and needs 2-4 years before he is NHL ready.

what is the yzerplan? so far its 6 years without playoffs. can't pull an edmonton and bottom dwell for a decade.

You have to remember that the first 4 of those 6 years Kenny Holland was at the helm. The team was in decline under his leadership the last 3 years or so when they were making the playoffs.

Flyers decline easily, from Philly's perspective Detroit would have to send the first to make it worth their while

He's one of, if not the best GM in hockey. You're out of your element.

petry is a need. wings have been blown out like a half dozen times or more this season. also wings made a similar trade for leddy so i dont by the rational that they wouldn't do petry. chariot fills a need and still leave wings with flexibility. with this roster the wings have almost $8m in space this season and almost $44m next. how is there no flexibilty.

veleno might be a star but he might be a bust too. this season has been underwhelming for his development. petry isn't a 3rd line dman. he'd be the 3rd best on this team or the 2nd best on detroits current team.

Not to be mean what are you talking about. Petry has never been a double digit plus defenseman and has several double digit minus seasons I NV his career. Getting blown out this year has been dpressing but Petry is not going to help that.

above the average but not top tier. he has potential. obviously he has to make some changes. need to improve on this year.

plus minus is a pretty useless stat. petry is a good dman and on the wings would be 2nd best.

laugh laugh One year of Bertuzzi is worth far more than one year of Sanheim, So i think not.

I'd rather have a top pairing defenceman than a top pairing winger, but you do you
