There is no reason for Stan to be in over Ville anymore. Ville has had to sit for so many games, and the first one he gets in he has an assist (got one on the Lowry disallowed goal too) and continually makes a good first pass. No he isn’t 6’7” but at least he and Schmidt can move the puck out of the zone. Imagine if those two had some chemistry. You could see Schmidt was still trying to do everything because he’s used to covering for Stan’s mistakes.

It was Dillon on the assist, not Heinola

as in on Lowry's goal...He did get the first one.

But thats not even where I was going, points are nice but he just played a solid game overall.

I’m right there with you. The points are nice but his overall play is what was good. Just way more poise all around and able to break out waaaaay easier. Which is what usually is a weakness of a 3rd pair.

I'm pretty sure on the Lowry goal that was called back it was Sanford who'd passed the puck to Dillon and Beyak mistook Sanford's #13 for #14, I could be wrong about that though.

Yes. I meant the first goal (Scheifele), not the first assist on Lowry's. And yes, you are correct, Sanford and Dillon has the two assists if it counted

Agreed 100%. Just checked Heinola's point totals, he is currently riding a 3-game point streak (1 assist in each game).

If the Jets do make the playoffs, they would be the hottest team in hockey. 🧐
- For 97 points (current pace for DAL), the Jets need to go 11-3-1 (or .767 pts%)
- For 99 points (if DAL just beats non-playoff race teams), the Jets need to go 12-2-1 (or .833 pts%)

That means if the Jets win the 6 games against teams below them, then they will have gone 5-3-1 or better against CAR, CGY, COLx2, FLA, LAK, NYR, TBL, TOR. If they accomplish that then the first round would be wild.

That what im thinking. The Jets will be on a roll and COL is sitting there injuredsmile

Big picture, either Dallas or the Jets will be on a roll and COL better watch out

I guess that means Brooks and Stanley will be in and someone from the farm will join them tomorrow in Toronto on an emergency call up.
