Couple of notes:
--Where's Neimelainen? Why get Pysyk instead?
--Getting Kuemper seems unlikely, but it's possible which is what matters. I am concerned by that contract though. 6x$6M deal for a goalie only usually works with the most elite of goalies, and I am not sure he's elite of he's just under, and I don't think he'll be the same in four years.
--I don't mind Carpenter, I can certainly grow to like him, but I don't see it as a necessary addition, whereas Foegle could really grow into something. I've really enjoyed his work ethic this year.

I wouldn't pay as much for Foegele

I actually would only get him on a discount as there's no spot open going forward... except one top-6 LW and one top-6 RW, spots that might be filled by Greig, that 2022 first round pick and/or an UFA (like Giroux for example) or player acquired by trade

i think the precident was set with markstrom that is what it will take to get kuemper.

Foegele is getting a bit old to have a breakthrough season he's been consistently this for his entire career.
