Description
trades can be to anyone interested in players doesn't need to be ones i have listed

other things that could be subject to change
- If Krejci decides to return Bruins don't target strome. Krejci hasn't officially ruled out returning next season for 1 more year

- I believe Lysell will start off in the AHL and depending on how his play develops there potentially he may get a chance to play in the NHL id assume he'd get minutes with bergy and marchand and they would give lysell the same opportunities they gave a young pasta.

Additions and Lines
- Sanford is a solid addition for the 4th line he brings decent goal scoring ability and an above average 2 way game i think the main things that would attract Bruins most is his physicality his size and the fact he is from MA.

- I think the 3rd line will stay put, unless they show other wise they need to be broken up. the only way i see freddy getting bumped down to the 4th line is if Lysell really explodes and solidifies himself in the top 6 and then haula bumps down to 3LW and proves he is a better fit for that line then B's have a 4th of Sanford-Freddy- Lazar/Fliggy either variation provides us with a decent 2 way line that brings a lot of grit

Strome seems to perform up to his linemates standards given he played with kane and debricat before his style of teammates doesn't change much
pasta and debricat are rather similiar i give pasta the edge in goal scoring ability
kane and hall are also similar both are speedy wingers with exceptional hands and puck control both are pass first wingers but if given the space to shoot both have solid shots that can make defences regret leaving them open/ kane has the edge on hall though

Strome is a great passer something B's need to help pasta get better scoring opportunites he also would allow hall to take more shots instead of being relied on to make the plays for haula and pasta.
Strome's shot isn't to be looked down on either he has shown so far this season he could potentially be a reliable high teens to low 20's goal scorer even though being the 3rd scoring option on his line.
Strome doesn't bring much for defence but bruins wouldn't be buying him for that, they are strictly buying him for his offensive ability's and potential that 2nd line could potentially have an exceptional playdriver(hall) an exceptional passer(strome) and an exceptional goal scorer(pasta) i think B's will be fine relying on their 3 other lines for defence knowing that the 2nd line could potentially carry most of the offensive load

CHI SEA and NYI decline
Isles would pay a 3rd max. And for a guy thats getting healthy scratched a little his values only going to drop.
CHI needs more value. Strome even with his terrible start under colliton is on pace for ~60 points. Gonna cost more than a late 2nd and a prospect whose time is ticking.
SEA has less than 0 need for debrusk and is the complete wrong destination.

So if the Isles had acquired a high end RD and pushed Mayfield to the bench, would that bring down Mayfields trade value or is he still the same caliber player caught up in a numbers game?

See the flaw in the logic?

Doubt Reilly would bring back a 2nd regardless unless it was very late. But his trade value is not decreasing because they happen to be deep.

Of course if mayfield was pushed down in the lineup his trade value would go down. Thinking any different is denying reality.

It doesn’t. Lol.

Go tell Edmonton Leon Draisaitl’s trade value is not as a top 5 player because he’s not their #1 center.

A players trade value is based on their ability, play, age, contract, supply & demand, not their current teams depth chart.

Reilly is 4th LD in Boston. On half dozen teams in the league he’s #2. So in your eyes Boston can trade him for a 4th while those other teams could potentially get a 1st for him. Same player. That makes sense to you? Ok. 🙄
