Coming back East seems like a very good possibility for Gaudreau. A year or two ago I would have thought Philly had the insight track, but maybe Jersey has more upside for Johnny on his last NHL contract.

not a bad thought about johnny to jersey. its just depends on how quickly he wants to win. devils need to get into contention first and gain some experience. i think philly will throw the bank at him though.

I personally think the Devils need to solidify their goaltending. Not sure that Talbot is an upgrade or significant one over Blackwood.

Right now, I'd be very surprised if he leaves Calgary. If he hits the open market, anything is possible, but the way his family has been on twitter, it doesn't seem like he's going to leave. A lot can change between now and July though
