Binnington contract hurts his value a bit, I think we take this deal.
Mayfield would be a more well-rounded fit for the bottom pairing than Bortuzzo.
Nichushkin is underrated as hell, would love to have him.

I’d rather sign Perron and Domi for the amount you gave Nich. I like the other deals.

Not opposed to just re-signing Perron on the cheap, but I prefer Nichushkin

Question for Blues for fellow Blues fans. Would you consider letting ROR walk next summer assuming he expects a pay raise and maybe considerable term?

Considering he’d be 32-33 at the start of his next contract, wouldn’t you be slightly concerned with signing him to a large long term deal. I don’t think I’d wanna give him more than 4 years. Considering that takes him to 36-37.

Yeah, that’s my main point. He deserves and should want that term and I’m not sure we should be the ones to give it to him. We could re-sign Barby instead and have Thomas, Schenn, and Barby down the middle. Would be a tough hit to take, but I’m leaning towards it.

Oilers can't afford Binnington's salary.

Oilers decline, Binnington has shown since the cap run that he can't carry a team and his numbers reflect that, plus is contract is a killer if he continues on his current trend
