I’m confused, muzzin comes back and is healthy. Plays decently but not up to last year. And then we have to attach a 50 point versatile player and 3rd round pick to him to move him?

Do you really think the front office views muzzin that way? They would just keep him for one more season instead of getting nothing for him. You’re even assuming he comes back and proves he can still play and this is the deal?

The Holl trade is realistic for the Avs - cost-controlled guy to play with Byram or Girard.

The Leafs have no cap space. As much as I love Muzzin, he is injury prone, expensive, and has not done that well this season. Kerfoot is probably worth at least a 2nd, and Duszak has been a point/game player in the AHL. This is just to clear cap space, and since the Kraken don't seem to be competing next year, it is a low-risk high-reward deal for them.

I can't see Muzzin who likely on his last contract waiving his NTC to go to non playoff team. Leafs fans should just forget this fantasy. And really Muzzin is has been worth his 5.6m contract
If Husso is signed, Campbell is not needed. Ride with Kallgren.

As a Leaf fan I don't. A steady 2m RHD who plays 20 minutes of hard minutes, is excellent value

Not arguing they might need to be traded. The return is way too low.

Ya leaf fans are way too quick to throw this guy away because he had a rough stretch. Got to the point he’s basically considered a cap dump on here.
