A Fabro for Nylander could make abit of sense if we do decide to move him. Or possibly a Matt Roy from LA

The Bruins started rag dolling the Leafs around when Lyubushkin and Holl were injured, no one is intimidated by the Leafs when those two are out. McAvoy taught Kyle Clifford a lesson with a beautiful open ice hit

Yep

Bruins only had 8 more hits

Thats nothing

Like if anything having brains over brawn is whats important. JT for instance big brained Marchand making him take a 10min penalty after Marchand had a tantrum lul

Hall should have got suspended but Parros and DOPS are a joke so what can you do. But if thats how people define physicality then I want no part in that garbage.

BAHAHA it did though, McAvoy threw a beautiful hit on Tavares, no one from the Leafs layed a finger on McAvoy and were intimidated (embarrassing)

McAvoy dumped Tavares and Kampf after Lyubushkin and Holl went down. Marchand got suspended for yelling at the refs, Tavares was intimidated when Marchand started cross checking him

And what did that get him nothing

Who won that game

Toronto

Guys can hit all they want what matters is results

We won they lost easy.

McAvoy can hit all he wants but what he should have been doing is helping Swayman out

Nothing against the win but imagine last night's game as game one of a 7 game series against the Bruins. Leafs won but now they will heading into game two without Lyubushkin and Holl where the Bruins will look to injure more players. Where were the Leafs when Tavares got dumped? No one layed finger on McAvoy (embarrassing)

damn tavares didn't needlessly overreact to a clean hit? in a game where he was winning, in a scenario where the refs are looking at any excuse to call a penalty on toronto?

what a wuss.

The Leafs need less Nylanders and Kerfoots and more players who can hit and fight. When the Leafs get a new GM next season, I expect the team to change the way they play

There's a difference between productive players who can hit and fight like the Tkachucks or Svechnikov or Jeannot and players who play like Simmonds and Clifford. Leafs need young power forwards who can put up points and are physical at the same time (like a Matthew Knies)

I expect a new regime if the Leafs lose in the first round again, someone who understands all elements of the game

Oilers don't need either of those 2 players. Even if they wanted them, they can't afford them.
