Realistic Landing spots for Dumba

Created by: SimonSelaars3
Team: 2022-23 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 30, 2022
Published: Mar. 30, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Dumba has a 10 team M-NTC so that limits where he can possibly be traded. I think Guerin could easily get a 1st and a prospect based on the most recent off season RHD trades such as Ristolainen and Jones but for the sake of not wanting to hear people complain I will keep it to 2nds and 3rds.

Nope from Winnipeg. One year of Dumba and his play style doesn't help the Jets.

Dumba wont be traded within the division, So Winnipeg is a no go. Edmonton needs more LD help than RD help. Philly just resigned Ristolainen so they don't need Dumba. And Vancouver is looking more for younger RD so doubt they have any interest in Dumba. And Washington doesn't have the cap space for Dumba.

Can't help if those teams aren't a fit for Dumba.

I think it’s time to start thinking Addison is the movable one.

A piece of clay could improve the Jets.

If that’s the thought by Guerin I’d be questioning whether he’s really fit to be GM. He will be 4-5 million cheaper than Dumba over the next 4 years and has already shown flashes of being able to do what Dumba does but better. The smart business move is to keep Addison, the smart roster move is to keep Addison.

Well, if it's a piece of clay that can score a goal then yes, I swear a piece of clay would have a better shooting % then anyone in the Jets bottom six, what a bunch of plugs!

Unfortunately a piece of clay is better than Dumba, so maybe there's a deal there?

Lol. Pionk is easily better than Dumba and Schmidt is at least equal.

Lol. Good comeback. There's a reason wild fans constantly try to dump Dumba. He isn't very good.

It’s not a comeback, I’m just being honest with you. The reason we’re trading him is because we won’t have the money to pay him after next season.

Buffalo could be a decent landing spot for dumba, but possibly on the no trade list, cap space and future contract shouldn’t be an issue, a vet to help develop power and dahlin.
