I like to know when was the last time a team that has developed chemistry traded two of the top players to one team.
Tuch obviously is not going to be traded.
He grew up a Sabre fan and he is realizing his childhood dream First, at this time, neither of them will be traded unless it is a gross overpay.
Second, unlikely either would be traded to a division rival.
Third, Granato has instilled team chemistry and camaraderie, trading 2/3 of the top line would destroy that.
Fourth, if you offered that for Thompson, or Tuch Karmanos may still say no.

I don't think it would be possible to make a trade for those two. Outside of Matthew's Nylander marner. There is nothing that would entice me into moving 2/3 of the top line
