Why would they ever do that anaheim or vancouver trade? Straight destroys the d group.

Boston does 1 of these. Chicago. But Hawks don’t.

Jones for Grzelcyk seems about right on value, and I think we'd have to add a minor pick instead of getting a second (!), but why would Boston do that?

jones for grzzz is terrible value i have no interest in jones for a 3rd or 4th so a proven top 4 dman on a good contract for him big NO from Boston. i think you forget that this year and last year grzz and mcavoy were ranked as the best d pair in the league.

i think you seriously underrate grzz becuase of his size the guy has had the lowest xGA/60 in the league since 2018-19 not to mention he is strong offensively aswell

Hey! I'm just responding to the OP's valuation of Jones = Grzelcyk plus the second, because Grant = Foligno (and if Foligno > Grant, then it's even worse). As I intimated from my original comment, I'd love to have Grzelcyk; I'm not underplaying his on-ice talents at all.
