Value aside dvorak hasn't worked as a 2nd center for you so I doubt its better in detroit.

It was reported last week that Dallas was looking for a RD and that they had interest in Petry. Where are you seeing theyre not interested? It has to be a deal at the draft, was impossible at the TDL.

Detroit declines. We have no replacement for Lindström so cannot trade him.

After the trade deadline I stopped believing in any of those rumors. They already have two horrible contracts, they don’t need another. On top of that Petry is 34 and they have enough old guys to try and get rid of. There are plenty of other RHD options for them.

I personally don't want Petry, and I don't think anyone is paying this much for the guy. Not to mention Stars can't even afford him without serious retention or cap dumps.

Most I'd offer is like Faksa+2nd. Petry carries a lot of baggage behind him with that age and contract, and I hope Stars is not going their way to risk it.

I agree Dvorak would fall in behind Suter who is a #3C so he really doesn't do a whole lot for Detroit.
