4 years at U-Mass, was their captain this season. Not flashy whatsoever but plays dependable hockey.

He’s a dependable add for Laval, what’s the issue?

Not sure I like this signing, he's 24 and didn't put up a lot of points being one of the oldest players in the league, what is the upside here? He was a leader but seems like there are many better players.

A great one to play in Laval for the future and protect our rookie !! Good add.

A great sand and paper for our playoff push in AHL.

He is not making the NHL based on his scoring...but maybe they have another Jake Evans type player. for no cost other than his salary for 1 year- well worth the chance. but a longshot at best, as he finished 3rd on his team in scoring and the 2nd leading scorer was a 7th round pick a few years ago and is 3 years younger. more likely they like his leadership and want him in Laval with some of their younger prospects.

Most of the AHL lineup is UFA at the end of the year, must get new blood.
