Kny had a very difficult year. Sports hernia, infection from surgery, bedridden for weeks. So happy he's back because he is rocksolid on the blue line with Karlsson.

Really good no-risk deal for the Sharks. Knyzhov is an intriguing defenseman and I hope he can return to last year's form.

He played all 56 games last season after getting called up for 3 games in 19-20, but he's missed this entire season due to an injury that required a surgery which led to an infection.
