I'm sure these comments will be very civil and won't feature quips like "future bust because the Rangers can't develop their prospects" and "the Rangers steal every college free agent."

Can’t believe he looked at how the Rangers developed Kravtsov, Kakko, Lafreniere and Chytil and was like “yeah this is where I want to go”

Not sure about the latter one, but isn't the first one a very legitimate concern? Their track record with developing players out of the draft is shocking lately.

That being said, maybe it's better they sign UDFAs. It's like having to put together IKEA furniture instead of making a desk from scratch. Even if it's usually not as good, everything's mostly put together already, so fingers crossed the Rags don't somehow manage to royally mess it up.

Not sure where my comment went, but he thought with his Heart and not his Brain, He's from NY and signed for his hometown team. It's likely not the best place for him career wise, but who wouldn't want to play for their favorite team?

bust

Bust? An undrafted 23 year old is lucky just to get a contract. Hardly a bust, since his expectations to be an NHLer is minimal.

i just recently finished rewatching "The Bob Emergency" on youtube for the 10th time so i hope there's a way that we can convince Trivigno to go by Bob instead of Bobby
