These are bizarre moves.

Why would Anaheim trade the 3rd overall pick for RFA Fiala and Jost? Makes absolutely no sense.

Your starting goalie is Mrazek and his backup is a 36 year old that hasn’t played pro hockey this year except for 4 AHL games where he got lit up? Good luck with that.

You also signed Bozak until he’s 40.

Avs trade is weird too. Can’t see the Avs being too interested in 3 years of Jon Merrill. Minnesota probably wants to hold on to any NHL bodies making around a million.

Also, you do all this cost cutting and then trade for a $2.5M 4C with Cizikas? Odd.

That’s a vomit trade for COL. Absolutely zero interest in Merrill, on top of that it’s an overpay

This somehow manages to be overly optimistic and bad for the Wild.

You guys are not only wrong, but also incorrect. The Wild cannot build around Tyson Jost and Dmitry Kulikov. Changes must be made to shake up the core. A guy like Mason McTavish is the ultimate buy low candidate. Anaheim risked it going 3 years on a guy with ZERO NHL experience, and had to send him to JUNIORS this year... Kevin Fiala is a former first round pick with multiple 60 point seaons under his belt. I get it's a bit much for a guy like that, but he has some upside. It's a chance for them to start over in 2-4 years and become actual contenders for once

tears of joy you guys are hilarious. Contend? For what? They're closer to a chicken tender than a cup contender. Maybe they should spend more time working the concessions to actually earn those big contracts cause they're play sure hasn't been worth it. Boldy was hot for like 3 games then fell off a CLIFF! If you have a 10 point game and then don't score for 19 straight, your 0.5 P/GP is fraudulent. Kaprizov is good, but someone has to play defense for this team, and it won't be him. Get a few bigger guys like Nemalainen, Middleton, and Cizikas to kick the other teams ass. You can't make an omlete without cracking a few eggs tears of joy

Ducks absolutely decline. They are not trading a prospect the caliber of McTavish, he wasn’t on the table for Eichel there’s no shot Fiala would get him. Swap him out for the Boston 1st rounder we got for Lindholm and either the Colorado or Boston second. Whether that gets fiala or not doesn’t matter but I can’t see the Ducks offering more
