I believe Petry will be gone by next season, he was close to being dealt at the deadline but it fell through so I don't doubt it will happen at the draft or off-season. Drouin is not a good C and I honestly think he's done here, it just hasn't worked and it's time to move on. Ylonen and pezzetta in the lineup over Byron and armia.

Yeah but you trade Petry and Drouin for what ? That's the good question.

Drouin honestly I don't even know lol he has only 1 year left on his contract so a playoff team might want him for a draft pick.
Petry is having a bad year but he has still he a consistent top 4 D 40+pts over the last 4 years and was in Norris conversation last year, I think Gms know this isn't the real petry. Not saying they'll give up good assets for him but I also don't think he is a cap dump or worth only a 3rd rounder at most like some people are saying, MTL will likely be taking a contract back though.
