1) Blues not giving up Bolduc in that scenario, although admittedly I don't want Binnington's contract. Rather keep Murray's contract which is 3 years shorter. He's also the better goalie (when healthy)
2) wow that Minnesota trade is a very hard decision to make. Of course, some Wild fans here might laugh at it, but it's a very good proposal. I wouldn't give up Pinto in many circumstances but this is hard to turn down. Can't decide seriously. It's Hartman inclusion that makes it hard for me, he's a lot of PITA to play against.
3) I like the Hague idea and you give up an excellent prospect and a good prospect to get him. Problem is that he is a LD and with Chabot and Sanderson (+ others under contract), playing time will be limited. Let's not make that deal, keep the prospects or target a young RD who would be a good partner for Chabot instead
4) yeah or just let some walk as UFAs. Each probably have 6th/7th round pick value
Quoting: Claesson4Norris
As a noted Binnington hater, I would aggressively decline that deal for Ottawa, and that's a ridiculous overpay for Fiala
Yeah but Hartman's here... Fantastic player.
I'd do Brown + Thomson + 2022 2nd round pick (TBL) for Fiala but Pinto off-limits
Quoting: M0LSON
because i included hartmann in the deal so overpay for a friendly contract so it would fit into the cap plus sens fan i want to see murray fresh start some where else lol
What Murray needs is a fresh start into a new body (who doesn't when you get older or banged up lol)
He has had several concussion/neck issues. Doctors might be close to not clear him for contact anymore
