So….1st round, 21yr old Heinola for;
A 27 yr old mid pairing D we don’t need
A 5’9 Smurf center we can’t use
An undrafted 25 yr old center with no NHL experience
And a late 6th round pick

Where do we sign

I'm not sure you can re-sign Chiarot or Marchment with Huberdeau and Weegar expecting big extensions next summer.

Ville Heinola should be worth more to the Jets but based on how they treat him I wouldn't be surprised if they made a move like this lol

They open up 6 million in space from buyouts plus the cap is for sure going up a couple million next season.

Hopefully OTT has a better move than this over the summer but even if they don't, they're probably on Hornqvist's 8 team no-trade list. So either way, let's just agree this doesn't happen.
