Lost me at giving Vesalainen, who hasn’t done anything of value, the same as Svechnikov, who has been good almost everywhere he’s been put, then bringing that waste of space Beaulieu back.
I just glanced at the trades quickly and didn’t like what I saw

What would the cost be for a guy like Miller? I am going to assume you are a Canucks fan. Why is it that all you hear about is Vancouver getting rid of Miller? In my opinion he is one the best players on the team.

The teams really don't mean anything on here. I am a Jets fans, and i won't pretend to know what other teams needs are. I just use teams as a place holder to gauge the type of return. You now as well as i do, i could've picked any team and someone, maybe even you would have the same comment.

Mmmm well considering the utter hatred the Montreal fanbase has for Scheifele since the Evans hit just seems like the last place to trade him.

The Canucks will need at least a 1st and high end prospect (ideally a RD or C) to move Miller. Morrissey isn’t a good fit as the Canucks are pretty set at LD for the foreseeable future (Hughes, OEL, Rathbone, Dermott)

That is fair. Thanks for the feedback.

I changed up the Scheifele trade. Does this value work? I am sure Philly fans will be coming to troll soon.

Thanks for the feedback. How so though? What is missing in terms of value? Please don't tell me that Morrissey is a top defenceman. I can take it if you tell me we have to add.

The Flyers would 100% take this trade, i would suspect they would want them to add in another prospect or pick though to bring the value up a bit.

Just because you can't evaluate players objectively doesn't mean they aren't good. The Jets need Morrissey more than Miller. They also can't trade Scheifele without a 1C/2C coming back or a top pair RHD. A couple bottom sixers and a couple picks don't help the Jets.

Wouldn't Dubois and Perfetti qualify as 1C and 2C? I think they have a decent RHD in Kovacevic. He just needs a chance. I would also argur that Frost in a couple years could also be a 2C, but i may be wrong on that one. Do you feel that Morrissey is better than Samburg or Heinola? If that is the case, we should be moving one of them.

It's too early to gamble on Perfetti being a 2C, considering he hasn't played center yet in the NHL. If the Jets move Scheifele (unless he asks to be moved), the Jets need to get a homerun return that definitely fills team needs. Not a deal that might fill a need if the Jets are lucky. In that case you just keep Scheifele. There are worse things to have than a PPG 1C on a great contract.

Of course right now Morrissey is better than Heinola and Samberg, but that doesn't mean he always will be. Someone may need to move, but there is no need to rush anything. Plus there is almost a 100% chance that Miller doesn't sign that extension. He'll be looking for more.

We are looking for a top pair RD prospect for quinn, a young centre, a 1st, and a 3rd is about it

Also, he is a fantastic player, but he is almost 30, he needs a new contract next year, he will command a big contract with a lot of term, trading him will get the biggest return asside from quinn or petey
