kaapo kakko isn't living up to the 2nd overall standard, and I don't think he will develop probably in new york

as a canucks guy i would rather see laffie, but i understand with miller only having a year left after this season why kappo would be the choice instead. i think its fair

That is worth a star player that is either controlable or has multiple years left on a deal. Miller has neither. Also Schnieder will be worth a lot to New York on his ELC when they start having cap troubles.

Dude, Laffreniere, Schneider, and Chytil is insane. You would get riped up if you put that in ACGM.

"Star Player"? you realise Miller is a top 15 in the league right now right

That's still insane. Laffreniere could end up being ten times better than Miller and Schnieder would already be your third best defensemen.

Van would say yes but Rangers would decline. I would love this as a Canucks fan as it involves Schneider.

The return is decent but I'm not sure Kakko still counts as a wow factor which is something you want when trading away a player of Miller's category. If you're the Canucks, you stall and hope either the Rangers change Kakko for Lafreniere or another team offers you something insane. If it comes down to the wire, take the trade as is as Miller is likely leaving in FA anyway.
