Hard to claim these are legit if some of these trades weren’t ever going to be options. NYR aren’t doing that deal. VAN was never moving JTM despite all the commotion on here and click bait on social.

Rangers pass, it's basically 1 for 1 Marino for Boeser. If Horvat were made available Detroit would blow away that offer.

No chance. Marino for Boeser is a wash, and Canucks would add because Marino is more valuable to them than boeser is to us. Pens are not adding a prospect and a first

Speaking of never going to be an option, John Marino. That is a Penguins team trading away a top 4 RHD, plus a 1st and one of their best prospects. If I'm giving up that kind of package, the least I'd expect to get back is Boeser at his best. Boeser's production this season is the lowest of his career. With how shallow Pittsburgh's depth is at RD, I wouldn't sell Marino period.

TBH I think NYR would be able to fit Miller under the cap even with a 9 million dollar extension now that they don't have to bring back Strome.

I'm not so convinced Marino has been extremely good the past 2 seasons.

Lol. Maybe add up the numbers again and make sure you’re including the raises for Zibby, fox, and keeping all our other young guys like Kakko, miller(who will get 3-4m, then Schneider. It’s not doable. Oh and not using a 20 man roster

detroit wasnt buying so i highly doubt they would even consider moving for horvat. they are trying to acquire picks and prospects not trade them away

I believe this offseason you have 5 million in cap space (factoring in Zibanejad & Fox extensions). Move Goodrow and Nemeth, that’s another 3 million. Should be just enough to give Miller his 3 million dollar raise.

His rookie season was his best one, yes, but he's still a competent young player. Vancouver fans here like him because they think he'd make a good long-term partner for Hughes.

Yeah I think a Boeser-Marino swap is fair then.

Riiiiiiggghhhht???? That’s totally why you’re trading for him and putting him in your top 4…cause he isn’t good 😂

Tbh I would target Matheson instead of Marino, but you would get labelled as a troll if you did cuz people think MM isn’t good

I think Boeser has more value than Marino tbh.

I don’t see them moving Goodrow after signing a 5 yr deal. That’s a lot of moving parts to downgrade our team.

Is getting rid of Goodrow & Nemeth for Miller really a downgrade?

For 1 year of a 50 point center? Better deal to be made than this.

A 2nd line center with a terrible contract situation doesn’t have more value than a top 4 RHD with a good contract situation

I don’t think 7.5 million for Boeser is a terrible contract tbh.

Not true Detroit was both selling and buying, Yzerman already made it known that if a team were moving a 2C he was 100% in but most of the 2C he was looking at their teams were in playoff contentions. So yeah no deals were made.
