The blues get weird love from that game. It seems a bunch of the players are overrated, but then don't carry as much trade value as their rating would suggest. But every sim season I do tends to finish w Tarasenko atop or close in goals... I'll take that!

I'm a big Kane fan, he can be a little dirty at times, not gonna lie, but he is a 5 on 5 goal scoring machine. He is extremely physical, can play up and down the lineup, but he does get injured almost every season, and he had his off ice issues, but I honestly think those are behind him now.

With Steen being 33 and Kane being 25 and starting to really show how good he really is, I'd say it would be an even trade, it's also because having the rights to a UFA is so valuable in this game, when Kane's deal is up, you'd have the chance to match the highest bid to keep him.
