The Jets won't consider getting older and worse with a higher cap hit if they move Dubois and Stanley.

I don't want to lose Dubois, but... I think I'd accept that trade.

Lol worse? Reinhart is better and Bennett is that much worse and mackie is a top 50 prospect. Stanley is a 7th d.

Both are older worse than Dubois. Yes they've played over their heads on a good team with lots of support, but both have shown that they are pretty terrible when they are leaned on to be a feature player as Dubois is.

it'd be cool, but the Panthers get worse with this deal. Bennett essentially has the same production Dubois has and makes 3 mil less. Plus Reinhart has been great for the Panthers

Uhhh he’s not even the best player on his team and he’s producing the same as in Columbus. He’s a 60 point player second line second. Maybe 70 some years. And Reinhart was the same way until he finally got better players around him and Bennett yes he’s out played his standards but since joining the panthers he’s looked nothing like his Calgary self. Winnipeg gets way better in this trade.

Bennett was awful in Calgary and Reinhart mediocre in Buffalo. Yes, they are having career years now, but their history suggests they will eventually revert to their normal ineffective selves. No one is going to buy high based on one season and givie up a 23 year old 1C for two older players. This certainly is a bad deal for the Jets and makes them worse shirt and long term.

They’re two years older. And yes Bennett’ was bad but since leaving Calgary he’s been better than dubois. And Reinhart has never been mediocre. You need to go back and research these players cause you clearly have no idea.

Reinhart averaged 53 points a season in Buffalo when he was stapled to Eichel, he can't produce on his own and doesn't make other players better like Dubois does. Reinhart is very mediocre and would not be interesting at all if Dubois was ever moved.

In general teams don't trade young core players to get older.

Whatever dude if your gm declined this trade. He’d be an idiot. It’s 2-3 years older it’s not like trading for a 30 year old.

This is super old, but I'm just looking back for Bobrovsky trades.. Reinhart put up 20 goals a year in Buffalo and scored at the exact same pace with or without Eichel (Eichel was out a fair amount)
