ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION

IF stone is a activated how is this team cal compliant. I’ve already sent down the guys that cap friendly has recommended. This would be their current team. Over the cap and no one is hurt unless I’m missing something.

Do they pull a DET (correct me if I’m wrong with the team) and play with a 19-20 man team until they gain cap? This happened a few years back but in the begging of the season.

You can’t just put someone on LTIR.

Are they actually hurt?

Fixed it. Cool so they’ll have a 20 man roster. Looks like the DET(?) model

Oh I forgot the goalie. This team is a joke

Carrier has a lower body injury.

Patrick has another concussion.

Brossoit has not played since March 15th.

I'd like to think that the league is keeping tabs on every injury.

So, I can only assume they are actually hurt.

I would hope so. This is extremely sketchy. CHI/TB exposed this circumvention and now VGK are running rampant with it like it’s no big deal. 100% either it needs to change completely or have limited spots for LTIR in the future.

Brossoit groin a month ago, Carrier was a lower body over a month ago, Patrick head hit by MacKinnon, Howden went neck first into the boards with someone on him, Smith knee injury before the deadline, Hague lower body back in Jan/Feb and Bischoff is probably buried in the desert by now.

Back in Lou era, there were times Devils dressed 15-16 players due to cap.

15 skaters and no back-up goalie:
October 11, 2010 vs PIT

I think it lasted just a couple games. They had injuries, but couldn’t put anyone on LTIR and couldn’t call anyone up.

There were other times they iced less than full team.
