Yeah like Trouba is going to waste his time on a team heading towards a full rebuild, Zero chance of Trouba waiving for Chicago knowing his wife is going to be a Dr in New York City.

blackhawks should not trade debrincat, that would be stupid trading away a future superstar

kane would probably not get kakko and two 1sts it would probably be kakko and 1 first or just two firsts

Can’t wait until the realization finally sets in that regardless of how good Toews and Kane have been in their career, 34 y/o one year rentals with 10mil cap hits aren’t nearly as valuable as you’d think.

Chicago should be building around Alex DeBrincat not trading him he's a stud, And that's a pretty brutal offer for him anyways/

No appreciation of other teams cap and needs, so I guess you're right as a Hawk fan " That's what I want to see."

Minnesota Declines. They aren't giving you anything for a winger they don't need

I'm not super familiar with every teams specific needs, but I thought I did a good job. Oilers get an offensive juggernaut at a low price and a goalie (having a down season, but was pretty decent last year, solid tandem option for Skinner), Wild needs offense, Jets I admittedly didn't consider too much just trying to find a team that Toews would waive for that could afford him, Rangers need the play-driving winger to boost their struggling 5v5 offense, Sharks need major cap relief, this saves them from a buyout, I like Frost so I figured they could exchange centers that seem to be struggling.

Rangers are taking on far too much cap, Patrick Kane and his $10,250,000 on top of Connor Murphy making $4,400,000 next fall is $14,650,000 There's noway New York can afford to take on that much cap even if Trouba were willing to waive which he wont be. Patrick Kane for that price has to be 50% retained New York isn't giving up that much for him come on. Kakko and Lundqvist Robertson and Chytil Trouba and 2 1st round picks that's crazy. to give not even mentioning that in this scenario there's noway they could afford to resign Andrew Copp who gets around $5,500,000 to $6,000,000 per for 6-7 years.

If Toews was in his mid 20's he might have been worth that ask. But as it stands now, Chicago needs to add to Toews to move him at his fill cap hit.

Funny you were about Kane's NTC but had no appreciation's of Trouba's. Sorry, rarely do trades work when a team with cap sends cap more cap to a team without much cap space.
And really you have to know that Toews is not worth his contract. The Jets are thousand times better off, over spending on a UFA...it would still be far cheaper than Toews, and they keep their young assets too.

Fair enough, I figured it would be a reach with that contract, I should've retained.

You're right, I saw something earlier in the year about how Kaprizov was one of the few consistent offensive generators, and thought that was still true. I was mistaken. However, one false belief doesn't mean that everything else is wrong too. If you'd like to elaborate on the "know nothing about wild or other teams" part please do, but there isn't any need to be a bit of a prick here.

I really can't see Toews going to out of playoff team...even the Jets. Just enjoy his last season in Chicago..
But even at 50% retained, 5.25m....Toews trade value is probably a second rounder at most.

Rangers decline. Kane for one season isn't worth anywhere near that much and Trouba would not waive his NMC. Plus, the Rangers wouldn't trade Touba anyway.

Toews and Kane aren't going anywhere. Their value to the team in ticket sales and jerseys sales is worth way more than the return they'd get in a trade. Best case scenario is they resign to team friendly deals and teach the next crop how to win.
