They have more cap flexibility than most would imagine. It would obviously hurt their cap situation if they got offersheeted, but they have a lot of flexibility depending on what they do with Nylander, Muzz, Mrazek, Kerfoot, etc. If both Sandin and Lily were offersheeted, they likely wouldn’t be able to afford both at over 4.5 mil, but they can definitely afford 1 offersheet

Yeah no thanks, I wouldn't take Sandin over any of the LD we've coming in Edvinsson, Johansson and Wallinder. Leafs can keep Sandin.
