Wow! How is this roster so promising without even hitting the cap floor? Looks like Detroit is poised to do big things very soon.

No way Yzerman brings that POS to Detroit. He's big on character something Eichel doesn't have.

But right now they are at that stage where trying to speed up and end the rebuild would put them in the never ending rebuild.

For sure. Not saying they should throw a wrench in the rebuild. But it's still crazy how much better DET looks with another bonafide top 6 center/forward, and they'd still have a promising pipeline and plenty of cap space.

Yeah no thanks, I don't want Jack Eichel anywhere near this team. He's nothing more then a spoiled brat.
