Weegar isn't going anywhere, And on his next deal he's going to be very expensive. Florida will hold on to him as long as possible.

He's 22 y/o and playing like a #1 D in some games. Just saying

I know Weegar is very popular on the site, and adored by so many Leaf fans...because he is RHD on another team. Don't know his play is over the course of the season, but in one game against the Leafs recently, man he was poor and really slow.

These 2 might play like 50 mins per game in the near future... no spot for Brannstrom outside of PP2 and 3rd pairing LD, which is until Tyler Kleven gets here. Sens are also pretty damn high on this kid.

They don't want Brannstrom on RD.

He's also not the type of players they like, like Anthony Duclair wasn't. If the team gets sold they will probably change management, then coaching and everything will be different
