Additional Details:
From the Hawks point of view. We need real assets if were going to take on $3.8M for an AHLer. IF TOR wants to buy him out instead. I can understand that, but this is the absolute best I can do for a truly bad cap dump.

They should buy him out. I don't want him for only a 2nd.

This is probably the cost to move him.

Think the Leafs would go buyout route instead. Buyout cost isn't too bad.

Leafs will either buy him out or they force him to sit on LTIR

Before this year I'd say that's not a thing, but Vegas is doing it so... I hope they remove that nonsense this off season.

I think with the 3 groin injuries we will see another Bishop situation. And Mrazek is just gonna stay on LTIR for the remainder of his deal

As when has a goalie suffered 3 groin injuries in a season and come back

Its basically strike 3 hes out that groin aint gonna ever get well enough to play.

It sucks though as he was doing well and proving the haters wrong putting up some good numbers his previous 2 starts then the hockey gods punished him. But hey if this situation does happen then one of the teams needing to reach the floor will pay for his contract.

Its a wait and see as I dont think hes coming back in 6 weeks

That seems like pretty idealistic thinking

I hope he proves me wrong and comes back better than ever but man through studying anatomy seeing a guy suffer 3 groin injuries aint good

As when was the last time we saw a goalie suffer 3 groin injuries in a season.

idk Quick has had his fair share. Either way I doubt he plays for Toronto next year unless they make a move for cheap goalie like Blackwood or something.
