Additional Details:

I heard that you are in the market for a stay at home defensive defenseman that can play with Power or Dahlin. While Zaitsev will give you that and he will do anything to win including blocking shots with his mouth. The price isn't a lot and while the cap may be a bit much I think that it helps out both teams and expires when Power expires so you won't have that strain.

Please let me know if it will work. The price can be different.

I don't know if you'll get those for cheap cause the team likely won't like to give that up. Zaitsev can be physical but the player that you described sounds like Luck Schenn

Tell you the truth, if they keep Dahlin at RD we probably don't have to trade for a RD. Just sign Gubs or Lyubushkin.

I don't know if I know BUF fans but I wouldn't do it if I were Sabres. Zaitsev just sucks, plain and simple, even at half retained. I'd much rather go after some UFA asset.
