I’d assume that would be a no from Anaheim depending on how this draft plays out

Minnesota says no to that trade. Hartman is arguably the their best Center on a very cheap contract. Sorry. You ain't fleecing Guerin.

Any actual logic as to why Wild would trade Hartman for Domi?

This is a joke right? Well if it isn’t, you just destroyed a team that was exceptionally good, and turned it into a dumpster fire. I would love to add Larsson, but that is just way too much. 8 years of KK and a first, hell no. Nino for a 2nd just to break up a dominant line of Nino Staal Fast is a terrible mistake. No need to go after Miller. Minny doesn’t consider that. Cole is better than M. Staal and also doesn’t have a permanent blind spot. And NYI, wow, NYI blocks your number before you can say boo.

I agree. Hartman now over 30 goals with today's performance. He signed a team friendly deal to stay in Minnesota. I doubt Billy G moves him in the cap strapped years without a huge price tag on him. I think the Wild will try to lock him up long term depending on the price. By long term, I mean a 4-5 year deal. He can also play the wing and play with skill or sandpaper. We'll need him and his contract to stay competitive. That being said, I like to hear your side of the trade proposal.

If you are asking my side, it's that i totally agree with you. Domi hasn't been good in years and would be better if he would just except a move to wing. Also i can't see Domi taking a team friendly deal to stay in MN. It wouldn't be logical for Wild fans to expect this out of Hartman for the next 5 years but who knows he keeps growing as a player, like Foligno did/ has. I do hope Billy is able to reward Hartzy with his next contract. Even if Hartzy isn't the #1C long term he should continue to have a spot on the team as a gritty wing long term at a minimum.
