Full on rebuild

Initial Creation Date: Apr. 16, 2022

Description
This is pretty unrealistic for the most part. The only moves that I could see becoming true is the defenceman moved out and the Scheifele move.

Rangers pass. No need for Schief now that they have Copp.

I agree with the defense moves being possible, but very unlikely the Jets move Scheifele for such a poor lowball offer.

The Copp condition trade and the DET trade are the only good ones here.
Jets don’t need or want whiny boy Krapsov and it’ll cost Schneider for Scheifele… not Lundkvist!
Not enough for Dillon.. we payed 2 2nds last year and he hasn’t declined so why would we take less?
Not enough for Hellebuyck

Kravtsov still has lots of potential and is real good. Schneider is alright nothing special people are just obsessed with people who are 6'2 or above, Lundkvist has been better at the NHL level and has more potential.
Dillon has been pretty bad this year
Helle I don't know maybe its too little but goalies never get as much as players.

Krapsov is a whiny little b*tch who refuses to play if he doesn’t get his way… zero need or want for that in WPG
Schneider is better and has a better and higher ceiling than Lundkvist…plus WPG needs size..
Dillon has been on par with his previous play, as far as numbers go.. the rest can be attributed to the breakdown of the Jets leadership
Hellebuyck is an elite goalie.. not taking that lowball of an offer for him, regardless the market

I think we could re-sign Alex Edler for less than Brenden Dillon's cap hit, and we would probably get the same results without having to expend assets to acquire Dillon.

Really like the Forsberg and Hinostroza signings and adding a top 6 winger should be a top priority for Chevy if he wants this team to be any better than it is now, Forsberg likely stays in Nashville though.

I was born and raised in Winnipeg, so don't hate on me for saying this, but if Kravtsov doesn't want to play in New York, why would he want to play in Winnipeg?

I'll second Batvader, if a deal with New York doesn't include Schneider there will be no deal.

A Hellebuyck deal to Edmonton would have to include Skinner, and even then the trade proposal needs work.

Finally, if this is a full on rebuild, it makes no sense to sign Forsberg, and Holtby, and Connor and Ehlers would be on their way out as well. This scenario is a half rebuild, not a full one.
