I don’t think Bailey and Detroit are a match as it’s unlikely he’d see time in our top 6 and his cap hit is a bit high for his age and where Detroit is in the rebuild.

Campbell will get more, I’d say no less than $4M on a bad day.

why would you think he would jump from a 1.8 UFA contract to a minimum of 4.0 million? I doubt anyone is going to pay him to be a starter

Someone will overpay for a goalie they believe in, it happens every year with a goalie. He’s shown flashes of being a solid 1B or starter at times too. One of the better UFA goalies available as well.

Isles throw in this year's first to wings trade since it's a pure cap dump

Yeah we're going to run Hill, Reimer, Kahkonen and Varlamov next season. Yep, sure.

Well he did convince Bergevin to trade Sergachev for Drouin. Yzerman also convinced Holland to trade him a #1 pick for the once waived Kyle Quincey. Yzerman used that #1 pick and drafted Vasilevskiy.

But Lou is no dummy.

Honestly, even though I don't mind him, I'm kind of hoping it's Hronek.

I'm not opposed to this. For the right offer of course.

I could see a nice fit in Dallas to replace Klingberg and they have the good forward prospects to trade
