It takes a 1st + a good prospect. I think this is a little less than what we'd be looking for

Yeah, I think that's what I'd be looking for if I was shopping him as well. Columbus seems like the perfect fit (I don't know why so many Pens fans have been trying to move him...), but can't see a 1st being involved.

That's understandable. I'm one of the pens fans that think he shouldn't be moved and that he's not going to be moved

Yeah, IMO it doesn't make sense for the Pens to move him...you dig that hole, then you've got to fill it, and I can't imagine you get anywhere close to that quality for less money.

Just an FYI on the Marino front, Vancouver DOESN'T want Marino. It was reported here in Van about a month before the the TDL that Pittsburgh offered Kapanen and Marino to Vancouver and management had zero interest.

So he's all yours Columbus.
