Description
Minnesota gets a cheap middle 6 option for Suter/ Parise's cap increase. Devils open a roster spot.

Arizona gets a middle 6 option and money to get to the cap floor. Devils open a roster spot.

Anaheim gets another center option to try and fill Getzlaf's retirement and some more cap space to speed up rebuild. Devils get backup goalie that can push for a starting position, youngish, a veteran in Moore that has been in NJ before and can be a 7th Dman, and some picks for Moore's contract.


Hopefully Copp likes NYC area, Devils sign him to solidify 3rd Center position and get another penalty killing center.

Holtz, Zetterlund, Greer, and Bahl fill out the lineup open spots created by trades.

    Copp is having a career year, Good luck paying him anything less than $5,500,000 to $6,000,000 x 6-7 years especially in high taxed New Jersey and New York.

    While the value is there obviously the Ducks don’t really have a need for C and could probably do with moving one of our own

    If there was room in the top 6 yes, but I think Vesey and Greer do more in the bottom 6 then them. Plus Vesey's PK ability alone should keep him in the lineup. The Devils have been in the bottom 6 for goals against for the last 4 years; the Devils really need to focus on defense more than anything.
