Description
Kerfoot to Stars makes sense for cheaper short term replacement FW for UFAs likely gone there.

Flames make this make to keep Gaudreau, Tkachuk and Mangiapane.

Holl is short term add to Capitals for very little.

I used Driedger as contract comparison for Husso, is it possible Blues do this? Maybe but they are in cap crunch.

I used Holl contract for comparison on Lyubushkin.

Yes I am hoping Giordano takes hometown type Speeza contract to stay.

Campbell has gone thru ups and downs, right now this seems fair overall but his money could rise depending on how he plays in the playoffs.

Mzraek I think may not be back, he has far too many injuries in the short term that are being problematic to assume hes good to go, will revisit this if things change.

I think Kase is also the same boat as Mzraek, but he does not have a contract so I dont know.

I would have liked to have Mikheyev back he asked for trade and didnt get traded, dont see how he will return.

I don't see Calgary doing this. Dube, even tho he hasn't been scoring much, he has been really good these last few weeks.

Overall I think these are all fair deals and your reasoning does make sense. The big question mark is Mrazek and what happens with him. In a very short amount of time the dude has had the same injury 3 times and I'm not sure how he comes back from that, nevermind all the other times he was injured in Detroit and Carolina.

I know some people are going to say Campbell is getting more and maybe he gets a little more but his super hot and super cold streaks I feel should bring down the money will be able to command.

Spezza is done, been a none factor since after the break.

Joey Anderson to me gets a shot especially after the season he had with the Marlies

I got a feeling Ho-Sang gets an NHL deal

Lybushkin signs a Hakinpaa deal 1.5mill x 3years
Sandin gonna get a Valimakki deal and Liligren probs 1.3 mill x 2 years

And I dont see the need for Dube

To me next year we will see

Bunting-Matthews-Marner
Robertson-Tavares-Ho-Sang
Engvall-Kampf-Nylander
Simmonds-Blackwell-Anderson

Rielly-Lybushkin
Muzzin-Brodie
Sandin-Liligren

Campbell
Brossoit or Hill or Reimer

Extras: Clifford, Dahlstrom,

They will do it if they want to keep Gaudreau, Tkachuk, and Mangiapane like I said.
It's not their only path to it but this is one.

Speeza, to me he can come back if he wants.
Dude could eat for free in all of Toronto and GTA to me.
His usage will drop drastically due to lack of stamina he clearly has.

With Anderson I just tried to fetch an asset for guy I'm not sure gets a shot here, I'm not against keeping him but we dont have much picks in the coming draft.

I forgot about Ho Sang.

Hakanpaa deal I have no issue with but I did 4 years and not 3.

I'm using Dermott as contract route for Liljergen.
His games played so far dont warrant more just QO so far.

Sandin, he does warrant more than Liljergen but he has some injuries already. It's good to optimistic but so is good to be pessimistic.

With goaltending, tandem is the way to go.
Campbell gets hot and cold, go with Hill or Brossoit would signal a clear backup, maybe even with Reimer.

Husso looks solid like to me and Blues may not be able to keep him for their cap situation.

By resigning Husso and Campbelll, in appears you don't have confidence in either. Leafs really don't have the cap for this as I doubt Mrazek can be wished away on LTIR for two years.

If you think Lybushin is better than Holl, why does Lybushin sign for just 2m, and the Leafs are able to get a pick for 2m Holl? I like Kerfoot but two seconds might be too much.
I'd be surprised if Blackwell, Engvall, Giordano and Liljegren are signed for so little.

I think Mrzarek is bought out at 1m X 4. In order for the Leafs do fill out their roster properly, I don't think Kerfoot 3.5m cap departure is enough, it gotta be 7m Nylander.

I feel right now I have offered fair contracts to Campbell and Husso with good comparisons.
For sure is a tandem operation and not clear starter.

Lyubushkin is not necessarily better than Holl but has different skill set than Holl.
Lyubushkin is defensive guy and Holl is puck moving D man.

I think Kerfoot would warrant a 1st rounder so choosing to settle for 2nds instead.

Liljergen is RFA with no leverage, taking 1 year deal and then bridge him after that makes sense.
Engvall is solid bottom 6FW but that's it.
Leafs will value him more than others to me.
Blackwell is interesting to me but only still a 4th liner who slot up situationally only.
Giordano I'm hopeful for only.

Mzraek I'd big question mark, need more time to figure out the direction here.
