        Don’t they get negative cap hit (so more cap space) if Keith retires due to recapture figure? I think they get an extra $3 million to spend for 2022-23.

        Would Kuzmenko not be an ELC? So it would be around $750,000-$925,000.

        Yea, needs to have 1 year ELC contract but since he is over 25 he becomes UFA after. Likely wants max 925k and some bonuses though.

        Honestly, Edmonton would probably prefer to LTIRetire Keith so they can accrue the extra cap space. But if he wants to officially retire, it's not like the recapture penalties really matter for CHI. Just pile it all on, CHI isn't going anywhere for a while. Got any cap dumps you want to pay us to take on while you're at it?
