Yea they do, and they have players teams actually want that aren’t cap constraints like Kerfoot, and Holl

Not likely any of these deals go through.

LAK; Might be a little heavy handed, even with their excess of fantastic prospects. I'd rather keep Nylander at this point.
EDM; Not a chance, EDM is pretty high on JP. Don't think EDM is looking to duplicate the RHD situation TOR had.
SEA: Heavy price for an expiring contract for a team that's not competing.
ARZ; buy-out Mrazek instead, keep the picks.
WSH; if that's all it takes for Samsonov, I'd jump on it. Doubt WSH goes for it, though.

Nylander is luxury we can’t afford. Why are we paying a 3rd liner 7million when he can do more and we can use that money else where to bolster the line up. He’s great but he’s not irreplaceable. Plus this is the peak of his value. Ppg season sell at his highest and get a return with NHL ready prospects and picks to help buy at the deadline or draft more useful depth for the future.

Edmonton can’t afford Puljujarvi. They have 8 million in cap space and multiple fowards needed and a goaltending situation to figure out.

Also the Kraken has to think of next season. Bringing in Kerfoot as a leader and someone to help the young guys with their game. Worth paying 2 late 2nds, especially since at the deadline you can sell for a 1st if he doesn’t want to resign.

Mrazek ain’t worth a buy out. A 2nd in 2024 and 2023 3rd is nothing for a contending team especially since we like to trade down.

Well LA declines that offer so im pretty sure Toronto wont have the cap space. EDM will make it work with JP if anything Yamo would get traded to make room.

…lol LA declined an offers for a 25yr old ppg player for a top prospect, a mid round 1st and 2023 3rd.

That’s terrible asset management by LAK.

You forget y’all have to resign Evander Kane. That their priority and has even been reported by multiple sources

Well keep living in your fantasy land. Everyone knows Toronto is right up against the cap teams wont be running out to help them. Toronto will have to lose trades if they want to shed salary.

No they don’t the only reason you were able to fit him in is because u underpaid him and made trades that teams won’t accept.

That’s what they said about Ritchie.

Toronto knows how to evaluate players and get the most out of them. We legit have zero cap anchors on this team and if you think Nylander is one you’re delusional as a 25 yr old ppg winger getting paid 7 million is an underpayment.
