Every trade doesn't happen because some are bad for the other team, and some for the habs

Why the hell would the Canes consider that trade? Dvorak has not had a good year at all, and Mysak doesn’t hold much value to the Canes. Canes already have enough centers in the pipeline, don’t really need another. Dvorak could bounce back, but he would need to be traded with half retention to really make buyers consider the potential risk. Plus, the Canes don’t have a center spot for Dvorak, as Aho, KK, Staal, and Drury should be the c core with Stepan, Lorentz, Domi, and Martinook who could also play C. A trade like this makes no sense for the Canes.

As for the other trades, Drouin isn’t getting a second. Anything close to that is wishful thinking. Columbus, I am pretty sure doesn’t consider that trade. Arizona is not giving up a second for 2 cap dumps. Now, if MTL is sending 2 second rounders, I think Arizona might consider that. I think Vegas might do that, but I don’t know.

Columbus declines, Voracek has more value than Petry and 2nd for Pitlick, 3rd, 4th pretty much cancels out. Also, we should not touch Deangelo and i don't think Gorton wants him again, that Vegas trade is bad for us, no idea why we're adding a 2nd and Armia/Hoffman have at best no value, definitely not positive value

Stars probably declines.

Value is decent, but DAL should look for UFA assets prior to trading for them if they're not creating any cap space by trading themselves.

Again, the arizona is a ANY TEAM type of trade.

Drouin retained DEFINITELY gets a second.

As for CAR, I believe Domi needs to be resigned and that KK is not ready to take 2C. But yeah, I don't car much for that trade - just moving Dvorak to make place for Wright and Roy.

Columbus could use a RHD, you are correct in that, but Columbus needs Voracek as a playmaker and passer more than they need a RHD. Columbus doesn’t really have another pass first player on the team.

Could we flip you a retained Drouin? For the same price tag of 8M you would have a RHD and a top 6 LW who is pass first.

Nah, Drouin does nothing for me. He has a total of 58 points in the last 3 seasons combined and hasn’t played more than Voracek has 55 this season and has 5 goals. He has 50 assists, that’s the type of wing Columbus needs to play with Laine. Sorry but currently there’s too much risk around Petry and honestly Drouin has little to no value. Petry has been better recently, but he was so bad to start the season.

Vegas accepts that, between Roy and Hague, I feel like Hague is the RFA they'll focus on for some reason, so they'll absolutely take a 2nd.
