Miller might be slightly better but Nylander is locked up for an extra year. At worst, it's a one for one deal, let alone Toronto adding Lili. Try adding a first round pick, and maybe some other picks, and maybe toronto considers the above deal.

Vancouver fans are absolutely unrealistic in Miller trades. Miller is 29 will be 30. Got one year left on his contract. Any team that gets him , assuming they sign him to an extension, may get about 3 maybe 4 good seasons but take a big risk of regression. Laine still likely has 8 to 9 years. But somehow you think Miller is worth Laine plus? Absurd.

Then that would mean he will be 30, right? Point is Miller would bring in a trade a 1st, a B+ prospect, and an NHL level player. You’re asking for a star player like Laine and a 2nd. No chance.

You're loony if you think Buffalo would trade Cozens, Jokiharju and their 1st for 1 year of Jt Miller

You’d be lucky to get Mittelstadt and Florida or Vegas‘s first round pick this year. The odds of Miller signing an extension instead of hitting free agency and testing his luck is pretty slim, so your return will reflect that.
