What's with the new found fascination to pay Kuemper more money than Campbell will cost?

Don't think Vegas will trade roy for that, he's been pretty good for them this year so doubt they trade him for a 30yr old D who would be on their bottom pair.
Don't see WSH an already aging team trading a high 2nd for an injury prone regressing/ aging Muzzin, don't think Robertson makes the difference for his contract, would still be over 4M for another 2 years.
Not sure why all of a sudden TOR fans aren't signing Campbell? He's been pretty good for you guys during his time there and will cost less than Kuemper, he will probably cost 4-5M. Also I don't think COL will let kuemper go they'll try to keep him.

It's because this site is manic. Anyone has a few injuries in a season and they are now a cap dump and the worst player ever.

I think it's more likely Muzzin packs his bags and sets sail for Robidas Island

I mean he isn't a Cap dump he can still be serviceable when he's healthy but he hasn't played a full season since 16-17 seasons and has only played 2 full seasons his whole career so its not really a few injuries ..I don't think he's an awful player I just don't see a team giving anything good to take on his contract giving his history.

Every single one of these 'gotta shed salary' agms ends up with a team against the cap that, at best, MIGHT be as good as the current one

He missed 3 games last year. Plus he plays a brand of hockey that leads to a lot of bumps and bruises

I'm (genuinely...sometimes it's hard to tell here) curious as to why? Guy has still played 20+ minutes a night this year, and there have been literally zero rumors of that happening.

The Muzzin stuff on here seems more like a group of fans that are trying to (conveniently) move his cap off of their ACGM's, neglecting the full no trade clause this year. Yesterday it was "Well, he'd probably waive for Anaheim because his family is familiar with LA!"-The guy is from friggin' Ontario, grew up in Ontario, played Jr. in Ontario, and plays in the NHL in Ontario. I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money on the fact that the vast majority of his friends and family live in friggin' Ontario!

Sorry, bit rant-y (unintentionally), but I just don't see why A) He'd waive, and B) He'd conveniently decide that he doesn't want to play hockey anymore.

Question: If Willy Nylander scored 60 goals/100 pts, would the "Gotta shed salary" ACGM's still trade him in all of their threads?

Washington declines, no question. Muzzin’s an injury prone wreck that Washington won’t be able to afford if they want to bring back either goalie. Robertson may be nice, but not give up a 2nd to bungle our salary cap when we have 4 LD in Orlov, Fehervary, Alexeyev, and Johansen nice.

Willy could put up 200 points and people here would trade him for cap space.

I just don't see a fit with the blues here. Don't think Tarasenko wants to be traded and I think the blues would go after a different winger than Nylander
